Originally conceived as an artwork for the exhibition Autopoiesis, held in the basement of The Bungalow, Buxton, as part of the Festival Fringe, between Friday, 6th July & Sunday, 15th July 2018. For this digital release I have separated the original 65 minute mix into two 30+ minute parts.

Part 1/
(00:00 - 03:04) - Pigeons Under Midland Bridge - anonymous field recording, mixed for Cities and Memory, Bath project, 2014, remixed for Autopoiesis, 2018.
(02:40 - 11:33) - Life on Enceladus? - contains road noise recorded on Fairfield Road, Buxton. Taken from the Neglected Texts EP, by The Erratic, 2017.
(10:30 - 16:50) - Organ Phase Triad (after Steve Reich) - recorded for Autopoiesis, 2018.
(14:00 - 24:30) - “We Love Our Audience!” - contains voices recorded from radio, a looped sample of ‘Spirit’, taken from Bauhaus’ 1982 album, ‘The Sky’s Gone Out’, & excerpts from an abandoned The Erratic track. Mixed for Autopoiesis, 2018.
(20:10 - 27:40) - Oblique Strategies No. 1 - anonymous field recording of Birmingham New Street train station, mixed for Cities and Memory, Oblique Strategies project, 2014.
(26:40 - 31:20) - Green Park Bi-Plane & Dog - anonymous field recording, mixed for Cities and Memory, Bath project, 2014.

(25:20 - 34:26) - Birdsong/Road Noise/Water Music (after John Cage) - contains road noise, a blackbird, & running water recorded on Fairfield Road, Buxton, 2018, plus additional birdsong recorded in Deep Dale, near Buxton, 2017. Mixed for Autopoiesis, 2018.
